Our Founder’s Story.

Fertility Destination was founded by Vincent PAYET, who has dedicated the last 16 years to fertility, both personally and professionally. Here is our story:

In 2007, my husband Jean Olivier and I, both French citizens, were living in Mexico. We dreamed of starting a family, but faced significant challenges. After careful consideration, we opted for surrogacy in San Diego, La Jolla. This decision marked the beginning of an incredible journey.

Our first surrogacy process was successful thanks to the expertise and support of the agency and clinic we worked with. Their guidance and professionalism were crucial in helping us fulfill our dream of becoming parents. We will always be grateful to them for their role in our journey.

Encouraged by our positive experience, we undertook a second surrogacy process in 2008. Once again, the process was efficient and successful, and we welcomed our second child. Within two years, we were blessed with the arrival of two beautiful children, Maya, born in 2008, and Sao, born in 2009.

In 2010, I decided to join Ferring Pharmaceuticals, a leader in fertility hormones used for ovarian stimulation. I spent the next 13 years as Managing Director and CEO in over 15 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. This role allowed me to observe the standards of fertility treatment in the region and identify the best doctors and practices.

I hold a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and have dedicated much of my career to fertility treatment, advocating for human reproductive rights and creating access opportunities for all families.

Our Mission

At Fertility Destination, our mission is to raise awareness and provide access for all. Awareness is crucial to making informed decisions about reproductive health. From our experience, we have observed a significant lack of knowledge among the population, which is not always linked to social class or access to education. This lack of awareness is common to all.

Our role at Fertility Destination is to provide access to information with the help of experts at all levels. We do this through conferences at universities and corporations. We collaborate with HR, inclusion and diversity departments, as well as CEOs, to bring in experts and open discussions about reproductive health, which remains a taboo topic for many.

Access to fertility treatments is also a significant challenge. Most countries in the Americas do not cover fertility treatments, even though infertility has been recognized as a disease by the World Health Organization.

At Fertility Destination, we strive to offer more treatment options to more couples and individuals. We are working on several initiatives, including:
– Collaborating with insurance plans to include fertility coverage (although it is very difficult to find in Latin America).
– Working with banks to create special loans for fertility treatment.
– Developing options for companies interested in offering fertility benefits to their employees.

There is also an economic benefit to receiving treatment abroad from the United States. However, we emphasize that access will never be a solution if you do not trust us. Therefore, we make sure that all listed providers, lawyers, clinics, and agencies, are real, legally established, and certified.
